For Dassi Erlich, Nicole Meyer and Elly Sapper, the path towards justice has been long. But on Tuesday evening, the sisters took a giant step closer when they received the news they have awaited for more than six years and 67 court hearings. 

Within just four minutes of proceedings, Jerusalem District Court Judge Chana Lomp delivered her ruling: Malka Leifer, the sisters’ former principal at Adass Israel School and alleged abuser, was deemed mentally fit to face extradition proceedings.
